Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and AWS CW certification. The position emphasizes safety, collaboration with engineers, and a commitment to continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AWS CW certification preferred (certification listed above).
• 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and welding schematics.
• Experience with MIG, TIG and STICK welding processes.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance on welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and Stick on diverse materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine project specs.
• Inspect finished welds for quality and adherence to standards and codes.
• Troubleshoot and repair welding equipment for optimal functionality and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area per protocols.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize welding processes.
• Fabricate and assemble metal components per drawings and schedules.
