Qualifications

• HS Diploma / GED required.
• 0-2 years relevant experience.
• Welder certificate.
• Welding experience in manufacturing or repair environment.
• Post weld heat treatment experience preferred.
• PT and MT related certificates preferred.
• Available full time.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Good technical understanding.
• SAP knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Select welding method (TIG, MIG, MAG, or stick) based on specs.
• Plan and lay out work from blueprints and specs.
• Set up and operate a lathe for preparation of welded parts.
• Prepare materials and components for welding.
• Perform welding and assembly tasks to spec.
• Weld repairs and installations per drawings.
• Verify quality and meet production goals.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues.
• Record data in logs or computer systems.
• Maintain a safe workspace and PPE compliance.
• Possess welder certificate and perform other duties as assigned.
