Job summary

Werner Construction, Inc. in Hastings, Nebraska, is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator for full-time work across our plant sites and sand & gravel operations. The role focuses on welding and metal cutting, with opportunity to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities include MIG, TIG, and Stick welding per drawings, machine and jig setups, and maintaining safety and quality in a fast-paced environment. Minimum 2 years of experience and High School/GED are required; authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding experience or related fabrication work.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Ability to set voltage/current/heat for welding operations.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding per print specifications.
• Prepare machine and jig setups for welding operations.
• Operate flame cutting equipment as needed.
• Weld components to required strength and appearance.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Travel to plant sites and Sand & Gravel operations as required.
