Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a skilled welder to join our manufacturing team. You will perform MIG, TIG, MAG, and stick welding to fabricate and repair parts per blueprints and specifications. The role requires setting up equipment, reading drawings, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

You will collaborate with machinists and assemblers to troubleshoot issues, ensure on-time delivery, and uphold quality workmanship. Flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Welding experience and specialist training required.
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturers' spec sheets.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship and safety.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with machinists and assemblers.

Responsibilities

• Select the appropriate welding method (TIG, MIG, MAG, stick).
• Plan and lay out work from blueprints using shop math.
• Set up and operate a lathe for preparation of welded parts.
• Identify materials and prepare components.
• Weld parts and assemblies to meet drawings and specs.
• Verify weld quality and meet production goals.
