Gregory Poole Equipment Company is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to repair and fabricate equipment and parts. The role involves welding, metal buildup, and straightening bent components in a shop and field setting.

You will use hand and power tools, hoists, and a hydraulic press, following drawings to ensure dimensions and tolerances. Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 95 pounds are required.

Formación

• Must have a high school education or GED.
• Six years of direct work experience.
• Physical ability to stoop, kneel, bend, climb and lift parts up to 95 pounds; operate mechanical hoists.

Responsabilidades

• Weld damaged equipment & parts; fabricate new parts & equipment.
• Build up metal in worn areas and straighten bent components.
• Prepare for duties by checking PPE and required supplies.
• Disassemble/assemble parts using hand and power tools; grind and drill metal.
• Move large objects with hoists or material movers and operate the hydraulic press as needed.
• Follow blueprints/design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances.
• Transport equipment in the service area to perform welding, fabrication, or repairs.
