Job summary

WM is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance inspections, diagnose, repair and rebuild components on compactors and containers. You will weld various materials, document parts usage and repair times, conduct safety checks, and respond to service calls as needed.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid driver’s license. Upon Hire
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections, diagnoses and repairs compactors, containers, and carts.
• Performs welding processes including arc, gas, aluminum welding, brazing, plastic welding and soldering.
• Documents parts usage and repair times in fleet maintenance software.
• Conducts safety checks on compactors and containers.
• Performs service calls for compactor repairs and emergency breakdowns.
• Maintains clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA standards.
