Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a skilled welder for the South Chesterfield, VA area. The position operates on a 3rd shift (11pm–7am) and requires reading blueprints and structural drawings, following engineered specs, and using a grinder and cutting torch to prepare parts for assembly.

Candidates should have MIG/TIG welding skills, basic fabrication ability, familiarity with 6S, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. One year of technical education or six months of related experience is expected.

• Blue print reading and structural drawing reading.
• Follow engineered drawing specifications.
• Basic welding tool knowledge and safety.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
