Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Weld Team Leader in Charlotte, NC, to oversee daily production and drive efficient line operations. The role requires strong welding and brazing proficiency, guidance to supervisors, and a focus on safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of welding experience, 6G certification, and comfort with MS Office tools to document processes and results. Overtime may be required and the position is on-site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of weld and brazing operations experience.
• 3+ years of service with Carrier.
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).
• Must be 6G certificated.

Responsibilities

• Communicate safely and effectively with Supervisors, Leads and teams.
• Solve problems and apply Cx Tools to improve processes.
• Coordinate quality control activities and ensure standard work is followed.
• Coach technicians to improve skills and performance daily.
• Drive quality, timely completion, and adherence to schedules.
