Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Weld Team Leader to oversee departmental operations, back up Supervisors, and drive efficient production lines. The role requires extensive weld and brazing experience, plus a 6G certification, with familiarity in using Office tools for reporting and tracking performance.

The position entails coordinating with Supervisors and Leads to meet daily targets, coaching technicians, and sustaining quality through standard work and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 5+ years of weld and brazing operations experience.
• 3+ years of service with Carrier.
• 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).
• Must be 6G certificated.

Responsibilities

• Effective communications with Supervisors, Team Leads and others regarding safety, quality, workload capacity, staffing, and issues impacting production.
• Solve problems and encourage use of Cx Tools to solve problems.
• Assist Supervisor and Team Leads in coordinating quality control activities and ensuring quality is built into production processes.
• Follow standard work and train other employees to do the same.
• Coach new technicians to improve skills.
• Drive quality issues resolution and support Carrier Excellence programs across the department.
