Kratos C5ISR designs and manufactures advanced mission-critical technologies for defense and national security customers. The Weld Assistant Supervisor leads a welding team, making technical decisions and guiding troubleshooting to ensure quality and on-time production.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, mentoring welders, and coordinating with engineering to resolve issues while maintaining safety and production schedules in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of welding processes, fabrication practices and production requirements.
• Ability to read, understand and follow instructions with attention to safety.
• Willingness to learn and utilize company technology for policies, training and benefits enrollment.
• Maintains sensitive and confidential information as required by company and government.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and direct day-to-day welding operations for a team of 10–25 welders/fabricators.
• Make technical decisions related to welding and fabrication.
• Train and mentor welders to improve skills, productivity and quality.
• Troubleshoot welding, fabrication, equipment, quality and production issues.
• Collaborate with Weld Department Supervisor/Weld Engineer to resolve issues and stay on schedule.
• Maintain production schedules while ensuring safety and quality requirements.
