Job summary

You'll manage scheduling, performance reviews, training, and continuous improvement with Weld Department Manager.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with welding processes and safety protocols.
• Ability to monitor quality and ensure adherence to work scope and company expectations.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience coordinating with scheduling and planning departments to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety protocols to ensure compliance with company safety policies.
• Oversee the safety and well-being of the team according to company standards.
• Monitor assigned work and review completed jobs to ensure adherence to scope and quality expectations.
• Adjust job assignments to meet the production schedule in partnership with planning.
• Utilize computer software to assign, verify, track, and monitor metrics and job assignments.
• Motivate, coach, and counsel team members to achieve results.
• Manage personnel hours, time off, shift schedules, and overtime.
• Conduct performance reviews and development with Weld Department Manager.
• Collaborate with trainers and department managers to monitor and improve employee development and processes.
• Lead department meetings and communicate changes affecting employees.
