Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret basic welding blueprints and instructions.
• Demonstrates safety awareness and follows procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist Welder I and II in welding tasks as directed.
• Prepare workpieces by cleaning, grinding, and scraping.
• Set up welding equipment and tools under supervision.
• Handle and store welding materials and equipment properly.
• Operate power tools and hand tools under guidance.
• Assist in tack welding components for final welds.
• Support clean and safe work environment and safety procedures.
• Mentor new helpers as needed.
