Job summary

Loenbro, LLC is seeking a Welder Helper for on-site work at Andrews, TX to support welders and fabrication teams. You will prepare materials, assist with fit-up, and help maintain tools and workspace in a fast-paced construction environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic tool knowledge, and a willingness to learn welding techniques. This full-time role requires safety adherence and reliable teamwork on projects across the site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn welding and fabrication techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist welders, fitters, and fabrication personnel with daily work activities.
• Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, grinding, cutting, and positioning components.
• Assist with fit-up and alignment of materials prior to welding.
• Operate grinders, drills, saws, and other hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, and welding equipment.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE standards.
• Support weld inspections and quality control activities as directed.
