Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking a SKILLS TRAINER - WELDING POOL to support faculty with quality instruction in welding, fabrication, inspection, and safety across multiple locations as needed. The successful applicant will assist in course delivery, adapt teaching methods for diverse learners, and help evaluate student progress toward stated outcomes.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and five years of welding experience; a relevant Associate’s Degree and welding

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum five years welding experience in SMAW, GTAW, GMAW and FCAW.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty with welding instruction and grade assessments.
• Support development and use of teaching materials for diverse learners.
• Contribute to safety, manufacturing, fabrication, and inspection training.
• Engage with students and maintain professional relationships.
