Qualifications

• Three years minimum of welding experience in GMAW, FCAW, SAW or SMAW.
• ASNT-TC-1A, Level II in UT and MT preferred; VT a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Must possess effective communication skills to motivate and direct employees.

Responsibilities

• Performs all inspection functions, including UT, MT, and Visual weld inspections.
• Corrects operation of welding equipment and welder operating techniques.
• Ensures that all documentation is accurately and neatly completed.
• Trains production & quality staff on welding processes/techniques.
