Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior NDT/Quality Inspector on the manufacturing floor to lead and mentor the NDT/Quality Associates. This role focuses on monitoring product quality, inspections, and adherence to standards, with responsibility for documenting all activities.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years at Level UT II with MT II preferred, and can coach trainees while ensuring safety and compliance in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years in Level UT II position with current certifications (MT Level II preferred).
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering/drafting prints.
• Proficient in basic measurement equipment such as tape measure, level, square; capable of performing visual and measured inspections.
• Able to train Inspector D, C, B & A personnel and act as a coach and mentor.

Responsibilities

• Makes visual and measured inspection of components to ensure conformance with standards.
• Verifies dimensions and quality requirements using measuring and inspection equipment.
• Maintains inspection records and reports daily.
• Maintains and improves quality processes and systems and trains staff as needed.
• Reads and understands code books, standards, procedures, customer specifications and drawings.
