This position is responsible for inspecting tacked, welded, painted, galvanized and manufactured parts and components for quality per the Company’s quality control processes and procedures. Preform MT inspection (dry powder) on weldments.
Education: 20 hours of MT class room training per STN-TC-1A is required. Must be able to meet the AWS D1.1 requirements of a visual weld inspector. High school diploma or equivalent. Two-year Associate/Technical degree preferred.
Experience: Recent experience working with Quality Control in a welding/manufacturing environment preferred. Must be able to read blueprints (engineering drawings). Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16 of an inch.
