Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a welding supervisor to oversee welding procedures and personnel. You will coordinate with plant managers and supervisors on performance, train staff, and ensure adherence to SBS welding parameters across production lines.

The role requires 3–5 years in welding, the ability to read blueprints, and the capability to obtain Sabre's welder C certification along with crane/gantry operation. Weekend and shift flexibility may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in a welding environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand safety rules.
• Must be able to pass Sabre's welder C certification and crane/gantry use.

Responsibilities

• Oversee welding procedures and weld personnel execution.
• Coordinate with Plant Managers and Supervisors on welding performance.
• Assist in training new welders and certifying staff.
• Identify welding-related issues and ensure adherence to SBS parameters.
• Lead safety, quality and productivity initiatives for the department.
• Cover Production leads on absence and perform production welding as needed.
• Complete special projects in production when required.
• Ensure safe work practices across the team.
• Other duties as assigned.
