Job summary

The ideal candidate will supervise inspectors, manage non-conformances and corrective actions, maintain documentation, and drive continuous improvement to reduce defects and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a quality control team in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Knowledge of AWS and ASME welding standards and QA procedures.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with non-conformance handling and CAPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise QC inspectors and technicians.
• Oversee daily QC operations and ensure compliance with QMS.
• Record non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
• Verify MTRs and other material documents for accuracy.
• Maintain calibration and testing equipment and logs.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce defects and improve efficiency.
• Represent the company on field quality issues requiring investigation.
