Job summary

High Steel Structures LLC in Williamsport, PA is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead our inspection and testing programs. The role focuses on proactively maintaining high product quality and driving continuous improvement across all QC activities.

The candidate will supervise fabrication-quality operations, coordinate with outside inspectors, and ensure adherence to coatings and non-destructive testing procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in fabrication inspection.
• Progressive supervisory experience, preferably in steel fabrication.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Engineering Management, Quality Control or related major preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Proactively ensure a high level of product quality.
• Provide the leadership to ensure that HSSL quality standards are maintained.
• Work with Fabrication department management to ensure ongoing quality standards and problem resolution.
• Coordinate with outside inspectors, working together to meet the customer's requirements.
• Responsible for developing, updating and administering visual and coatings inspection, non-destructive testing procedures and practices.
• Manage QC workloads, scheduling, procedures and audits.
