Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands seeks a Sr. Quality Manager for our Houston manufacturing facility to lead the quality system, ensure compliance with IAS AC472, AISC and other standards, and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.

You will guide corrective actions, train Quality personnel, and partner with customers and suppliers to resolve quality opportunities while delivering measurable reductions in defects and cost of quality.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Quality, Business, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• AWS CWI or commitment to earn within first year of employment.
• 8–10 years in a quality management role; Six-Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt a plus.
• Subject matter expertise in structural steel welding and fabrication per AWS D1.1, D1.3, CSA W47, W59.
• ASNT TC1A Level II in ultrasonic testing is highly preferable.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer-focused Quality improvement projects from initiation to realized gains.
• Ensure compliance with US Commercial QMS and internal guidelines.
• Lead and train Quality Engineers and QC staff; manage corrective actions.
• Oversee welder qualification testing and audits with accreditors.
