Job summary

Oxarc LLC in Washington state is seeking an experienced Outside Sales specialist for large capital welding products. You will be the expert on welding processes, applications, and the economics of welding, working with programs, equipment, and supplies to boost customer efficiency and performance.

OXARC, has been providing welding and industrial supplies, as well as, medical and specialty gases since 1968. OXARC is headquartered in Spokane, Washington with 24 stores in WA, ID and OR.

Job Summary

Responsible for outside sales of large capital welding products and services. Act as the expert in the area of welding processes, applications, and the economics of welding. Works with programs, equipment, and supplies to increase customer efficiency and optimize their performance.

Duties Include

• Build relationships with existing customers on the sale of large capital welding processes and applications.
• Increase sales and profit margin through efficiency analysis and engineered cost reduction programs.
• Respond to customer inquiries to provide product and application training.
• Work closely with Outside Sales to uncover opportunities within existing and prospective customers.
• Demonstrates products to new account customers.

Requirements Include

• Associate Degree Welding (AAS), Military weld training, or Bachelor's degree (Weld Engineering) preferred. CWI or CWE certification preferred.
• 5+ years' experience in the welding industry (preferred)
• 3+ years' sales experience in a relevant field or industry (preferred)
• Strong negotiation skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills and basic customer service experience, training skills for in person, verbal and written training objectives
• Occasionally be required to lift 80 pounds
• Must be organized, have good reasoning skills, math aptitude and time management skills
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet use
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record.
• Salary Range: The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $80,000-$95,000/annually. Expected hiring salary is $80,000/annually. DOE (depending on experience).

Clothing allowance program. Voluntary benefit options include life, and AD&D insurance. Employees are eligible for most benefits on the first of the month following 90 days of employment. However, some benefits have different qualifying periods. Medical, dental, vision and prescription insurance is effective on the 1^st^ of the month following hire date.
