Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry preferred.
• Industrial/Specialty Gas experience preferred.
• Knowledge of analytical chemistry methods and theories.
• Advanced technical training.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Testing and analysis of product, production of product.
• Responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Performs routine analytical procedures on pure and mixed gases.
• Runs mixture calculations for routine mixtures.
• Data entry and maintenance of data (hard copy and electronic).
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and methods.
• Ensure bulk tanks are sampled after deliveries.
• Keep production areas neat and clean.
• Operate lab in absence of Lab Lead when needed.
• Complete paperwork per FDA requirements.
• Maintain high attendance and dependable work habits.
• Adhere to company policies and local/state/federal regulations.

Job description

OXARC has been providing welding and industrial supplies, as well as, medical and specialty gases since 1968. OXARC is headquartered in Spokane, Washington with 23 stores in WA, ID and OR.

Job Summary:**

Testing and analysis of product, production of product, responding to customer inquiries and complaints.

Duties Include**

• Performs routine analytical procedures on pure and mixed gases.
• Runs mixture calculations for routine mixtures.
• Data entry. Maintains data both hard copies and electronically.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and methods.
• Ensure that bulk tanks are sampled after receiving deliveries.
• Ensures production areas are neat and clean.
• Be able to operate Lab in absence of the Lab Lead when needed.
• Accurate and timely completion of paperwork per FDA requirements.
• Commit to high performance through outstanding attendance and overall dependable work habits.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as local, state and federal regulations and laws.

Requirements Include**

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry preferred.

• Ability to work independently, establish priorities and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision.
• Occasionally be required to lift up to 40 pounds.

• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet use.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Salary Range:** Expected hiring salary is $25.00/hr. (The salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary for this position which is $25.00/hr. - $32.00/hr.)
