• Know ledge of PSM/RMP programs.
• Knowledge of Tier 2 and Pesticide reporting requirements.
• Two years of management or supervisory experience.
• Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to travel 25% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage, write, develop, train and enforce safety policies and SOPs.
• Inspect facilities to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
• Develop and implement inspection policies, procedures and schedules.
• Create and manage Accident Prevention Plan.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and related records (OSHA 300 log).
• Investigate and manage accident and injury claims.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Maintain safety data and report trends and improvements.

Essential duties/responsibilities:

• Manage, write, develop, train and enforce safety policies and procedures (Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
• Inspects facilities to identify safety, health, and environmental risks
• Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections
• Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the company
• Create and manage Accident Prevention Plan

  • Stay up to date on all changes to regulations regarding safety standards for all lines of business
  • Maintain OSHA 300 log
• Investigate and manage accident and injury claims
  • Manage employee’s medical treatment, therapy or treatment and release
  • Ensure process and treatment provide employee all the necessary care
  • Mitigate company recordable accident and workers compensation claims exposure
  • Write Light Duty Job Descriptions
• Maintain safety related data, analyze data for trends and patterns, report to management on results of analysis and plans/recommendations for improvement/changes to SOP’s
  • Participates in the investigation, documentation and follow-up of all near misses and accidents
  • Maintains frequent communication with leadership about accidents, injuries and near misses
• Provide and maintain an effective employee feedback system to provide continuous suggestions and input from employees related training and operating duties
