Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Team Leader Certification within 30 days of assignment.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Is a working team leader assigned to plating, polishing, assembly, coating or other production areas.
• Instructs and coordinates the activities and job assignments of team members in the area.
• Scheduling – Implement scheduling sequence for team members.
• Maintain time and production documentation.
• Responsible for communication among team members – turnover meetings and ongoing communication.
• Training - coordinate training for all team members (OJT, and other necessary training).
• Performance management - provide input and participate in performance reviews and talent audits.
• Quality – ensure adherence to established quality procedures for the company and area.
• Safety and Environmental - ensure team participation and compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
• Provide leadership with productivity initiatives – Lean/BCI for the area.
• Staffing – participate in selection and interviewing of new team members.
• Assist with special projects as needed.
• Enforce and reinforce company policies and practices.
• Responsible for all paperwork for the area.
