Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Education: Associate degree or relevant coursework preferred.
• Experience: 1 year MIG/TIG welding preferred.
• Requires ability to pass Tenneco Weld Certification evaluation.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, directions, charts, forms, WPS’s and safety procedures.
• Team environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical direction to welders in partnership with the Production Supervisor.
• Weld MIG/TIG stainless-steel components per drawings and standards.
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair structural steel parts and assemblies.
• Perform weld setup, inspections, and quality checks per specifications.
• Investigate root causes and support corrective actions for welding defects.
