Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. is seeking a hands-on welding supervisor to oversee welding procedures and personnel at SBS.

The role involves coordinating with Plant Managers and Supervisors to address performance issues, training staff, and ensuring adherence to welding parameters and safety standards. You will support production lines, perform welding or tack welding as needed, and participate in special projects to maintain productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years recent welding experience preferred.
• Must read and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to pass Sabre's welder C certification and certify to use overhead cranes and gantries.
• Ability to train others.
• Bilingual English/Burmese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Plant Managers and Supervisors regarding welding personnel performance.
• Assist with training of new employees and those needing certification upgrades.
• Identify welding-related issues (personnel, consumables, or equipment).
• Ensure welding personnel operate within SBS welding parameters.
• Demonstrate leadership to achieve safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Uphold safe practices and safety awareness across operations.
• Provide coverage for Production leads during absences.
• Weld or tack weld in production lines as needed.
• Complete special projects in production areas when required.
