Job summary

Sabre Industries, Inc. in Conroe, TX seeks a production lead to guide daily operations, ensure safety, and meet quality and productivity goals on the shop floor. You will train staff, monitor metrics, read blueprints, and coordinate with supervision to keep equipment running and shipments on schedule.

Knowledge of Epicor/Vantage MES is a plus; strong communication and teamwork are required to succeed in this role and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Regular and timely attendance is required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Learn to use Epicor/Vantage to report data, check schedules, inventory, routings and BOM.
• Read blueprints and interpret Sabre’s manufacturing tolerances and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and delegate daily tasks to production staff.
• Use the company system to collect labor hours and track process information.
• Train employees and ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
• Maintain housekeeping and coordinate with supervisors on priorities.
• Read blueprints and assist in meeting master plan and ship dates.
