Job summary

United Alloy, based in Union, OH, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer—KEIP to define and implement best practices for fabrication, welding, powder coating, and assembly processes. This on-site role offers weekday hours and occasional travel for field tasks and training.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and 0–2 years’ experience in process engineering, plus strong communication skills and familiarity with lean methods. Join UA to help drive productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in a Process Engineer role.
• CWI certification preferred, or willingness to obtain CWI certification.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Strong written, verbal and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Kaizen / Continuous Improvement experience a plus, including 5S.
• Understands Lean concepts such as lead time reduction and SMED.
• Willing to work flexible shifts and schedules to support production.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate production process methods to identify improvements and propose solutions to supervisor.
• Use MRP and CAD tools to create fixtures and route jobs through manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot and recommend corrective actions with root cause analysis.
• Participate in project management and resolve issues to complete tasks on time.
• Collaborate with operators to implement solutions for production challenges.
• Develop and coordinate technical training for direct and indirect labor.
