Job summary

Kloeckner Metals Corporation is seeking a Fabrication/Manufacturing Engineer to design, improve, and sustain production processes for high quality, cost-efficient products. You will bridge product design and manufacturing, apply lean principles, upgrade machinery, and define production methods while ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or electrical engineering.
• Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks or AutoCAD), PLC programming, and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Process Improvement: Evaluate and refine production methods to boost efficiency, minimize waste, and reduce costs.
• Production Planning: Develop workflows, arrange equipment layouts, and establish assembly processes for new and existing products.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix equipment problems while addressing production bottlenecks.
• Quality Control: Create and maintain quality standards, including testing and inspection procedures.
• Equipment Management: Identify, install, and validate new manufacturing equipment.
• Collaboration: Partner with design, R&D, and leadership teams to move products from prototype to full-scale production.
