Job summary

Acoustical Sheetmetal Company seeks a Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive lean initiatives across manufacturing and operations. You will analyze processes, identify root causes, and lead improvements to boost productivity, quality, and safety on the shop floor.

You’ll collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams to implement standardized practices and sustain gains through Kaizen events and visual management tools.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; vocational welding education preferred.
• Minimum 1 year welding, fabrication, or manufacturing experience.
• Welder I experience with GMAW (MIG) welding including flat and in-position.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on lean improvement tasks and projects.
• Weld, fabricate, drill and assemble components for improvement initiatives.
• Set up basic equipment and tools for new implementations.
• Apply visual management aids and floor markings for lean projects.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to implement improvements.
