Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must learn to use the Epicor/Vantage computer system to report data and train staff.
• Must be able to read blue prints and visually inspect shafts and hardware.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Safety-minded with the ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and delegate daily tasks to production employees.
• Use Epicor/Vantage MES to collect labor hours and track data; supervise safety, quality, and productivity.
• Prepare proper training for production employees as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping in the area.
• Communicate via Microsoft Outlook with colleagues inside and outside the department.
• Operate materials handling equipment (cranes, forklift, pallet jacks).
• Assist employees in reading and interpreting blue prints.
• Help implement the master plan to meet goals and delivery dates.
• Ensure machinery, tools, and equipment are in good working order.
• Lead weekly safety meetings and assist in employee evaluations.
