Qualifications

• Experience leading welders and fabricators in a production shop environment.
• Experience with FCAW, GMAW, air carbon arc gouging, and print reading.
• 3–5 years of combined experience and/or a minimum of 2 years at Austin.

Responsibilities

• Perform production work as assigned; plan ahead and stage parts to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with Supervisor to achieve daily goals and keep production moving.
• Monitor output and help resolve workflow, material, equipment, safety, and personnel issues.
• Train employees in safe equipment use and interpret prints, directions, procedures, and policies.
• Assist with incident and near-miss reports, production reports, maintenance requests, and timesheet updates.
• Follow and enforce company policies and safety guidelines; keep the area clean.
