Austin Engineering is seeking a Fabrication Supervisor for the Mills, Wyoming facility. You will lead daily shop operations, supervise heavy steel fabrication and welding, and ensure schedules, safety, and quality targets are met.

The role requires strong supervisory experience in fabrication, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety. This on-site position offers overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in fabrication or heavy manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily fabrication and welding of heavy steel assemblies.
• Ensure production schedules are met.
• Assign work based on skill level and production needs.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and job orders.
• Monitor workflow and adjust assignments as needed.
• Maintain accurate time, labor, and production records.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and recommend improvements.
• Assist in employee training and development.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, and other departments.
• Report equipment issues per company procedures.
