The role involves performing welding duties on outdoor power equipment, assisting with training, and ensuring quality standards. This position supports a continuous workflow and may substitute for absent team members.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform essential welding duties on outdoor power equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret Exmark blueprints.
• Experience with power tools is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding duties on a variety of outdoor power equipment.
• Assist supervisor with training and reading blueprints.
• Carry out a first-piece inspection at the start and midway through the shift.
• Assist welders with questions regarding weld equipment.
• Periodically check for quality (splatter, porosity) as directed by supervisor.
• Help out to keep the workflow moving and substitute for absent employees.
• Assist and fill-in for the supervisor as needed and look for improvements to methods and safety.
