Job summary

Exmark, located in Beatrice, Nebraska, is a division of The Toro Company, leading the field of commercial mowers and landscape equipment. The successful candidate will join a 2nd shift team and contribute to production efficiency.

Responsibilities include material handling, quality checks, training new staff, and maintaining 5S standards within a safety-driven environment. Strong reading, basic math, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and ability to read and interpret documents.

Responsibilities

• Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials to meet production goals.
• Examines items produced to determine if items meet specifications.
• Interprets company policies to workers and enforces policies and safety regulations.
• Interprets specifications, drawings, and job orders to subordinates, and assigns duties.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Check inventory to ascertain that all necessary parts and quantities are available.
• Identify and apply Lean methodologies to improve production methods and inventory.
• Meet production quotas and maintain quality standards.
• Responsible for training new employees.
• Maintain 5S standards and a clean, safe environment.
• Lead 3 Tier meetings with employees.
• Follow and develop standard work and update production boards hourly.
• Assist in driving the job rotation program.
