Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Three years of full-time welding experience is required.
• Diploma/Certificate in welding is preferred.
• Previous teaching/lab assistant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains welding laboratory in a safe, clean, orderly, and functional condition.
• Assists with laboratory prep, equipment and materials management, and safety practices.
• Provides basic technical assistance to students under instructor guidance.
• Assists with student activities and maintains inventory records.
• Reports safety concerns to the Welding Instructor or administrator.
• Supports hands-on instruction and ensures proper use of tools and equipment.
• Prepares labs for demonstrations, testing, and activities.
• Maintains confidentiality of student information and records.
