Job summary

Wallace Community College is seeking a Welding Lab Assistant to support daily operation of the welding laboratory, helping with preparation, equipment and materials management, and safety. You will work closely with the Welding Instructor to ensure students have tools and a safe environment for hands-on activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of welding experience; a welding diploma or certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of full-time welding experience required.
• Diploma/Certificate in welding preferred.
• Previous teaching or lab assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Welding Laboratory.
