Qualifications

• Standard Academic Qualification: Earned Technical Certificate of Credit or higher in Welding and Joining Technology, or some college in field or related field.
• Other/Alternative Qualification: – Applicants who do not meet the standard academic qualification may be considered under the following criteria.
• Certificate, license, or specialized training in field AND at least one year of relevant work experience.
• Required Documentation for Other/Alternative Academic Qualification: Candidate must upload all required documentation to the CGTC employment portal.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, provides associate-y level Welding instruction to students in classroom and lab settings.
• Develops program goals and objectives; prepares syllabi and lesson plans; evaluates student progress.
• May serve as lead instructor to mentor adjunct faculty and maintain records, inventory, and reports.
• Travel within the college service area and teaching at multiple campus sites may be required.
