Job summary

Texas State Technical College is hiring Welding Instructors for the Ft. Bend campus to deliver approved curriculum in an applied learning environment. You will facilitate activities for diverse learning styles, mentor students, and integrate technology to enrich instruction.

You will develop syllabi, manage student records, and support retention through advisement and collaboration with Student Success. Industry experience and teaching potential are valued.

Qualifications

• Verifiable industrial welding experience and knowledge across GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SMAW.
• Ability to read blueprints and apply pipefitting theory.
• Welding test completed on site with proficiency demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver high quality welding instruction.
• Develop course syllabi and instructional plans.
• Maintain student records and safety compliance.
• Advise students with timely, accurate information.
• Recruit and promote programs through events.
