Qualifications

• Verifiable industrial work experience in the welding and fabrication Industry.
• Proficient in GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, SMAW, and SAW on plate and pipe; knowledge of Plasma and Oxy-Acetylene cutting procedures.
• Successful completion of supervised Weld Test on site.
• Proficient at blueprint reading and pipefitting theory and its application.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality welding instruction and facilitate the learning of students.
• Prepare and deliver course syllabi and instructional plans, and organize daily classes using varied techniques.
• Fulfill assigned schedule, maintain student records and ensure safe, well-equipped instructional environments.
• Provide advisement to promote student retention and connect with Student Success programs.
• Engage in program recruitment and promotion activities to attract prospective students.
• Demonstrate TSTC Core values and act as an ambassador for the program.
