Job summary

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College is seeking a Welding Instructor for a full‑time 10‑month assignment (CFE & Atco High School). You will teach welding technology to college and high school students during day classes, following the approved syllabus and effective teaching methods.

The role requires a diploma or higher in the teaching discipline or in-field certifications with at least three years of field experience, plus strong communication and meticulous record-keeping. State benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in the teaching discipline with verifiable credentials, qualifications, or competencies appropriate for teaching the course content.
• OR In-field certifications
• AND three (3) years of experience in-field.

Responsibilities

• Instruct welding technology to college and high school students during day classes.
• Demonstrate use of approved course syllabus and grading procedures.
• Maintain grade books and all required records.
• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
• Maintain inventory of assigned properties.
• Complete reports and invoices promptly.
