Job summary

Wiregrass Georgia Technical College seeks a Welding Adjunct Instructor to teach welding technology courses at Brooks High School and Delta Academy, serving both college and high school students during daytime hours.

Under general supervision, you will use approved syllabi, conduct assessments, maintain grades, and keep accurate records while supporting equity initiatives and a diverse student body.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in the teaching discipline with verifiable credentials, qualifications, OR competencies appropriate for teaching the course content.
• In-field certifications, OR three (3) years of experience in-field. NOTE: A combination of related experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students in welding technology courses, including college and/or high school students during day classes.
• Demonstrate appropriate teaching techniques, testing and grading procedures, and proper record-keeping (gradebooks, reports, invoices).
• Maintain inventory and follow the approved course syllabus, ensuring timely completion of reports and required records.
