Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a welding certification and 3 years of welding/joining work experience.
• Minimum qualifications determined by the teaching discipline; credentialing must satisfy accrediting bodies for the course assigned.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work in a classroom setting.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and supervises students in Welding and Joining Technology.
• Develops program and course outlines, goals and objectives; prepares lesson plans for credited technical/occupational courses.
• Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals; maintains supplies, equipment, and budget requests; ensures safety and program certification requirements.
