Job summary

MiTek Industries, Inc. is seeking a Welder/Fitter to perform fitting, fabrication, assembly, and welding in a production setting. You will read engineered drawings, prepare materials, and execute ARC and MIG welding to meet specifications and safety standards.

Qualifications

Education: High School Graduate or GED required.
Experience: 1–3 years welding, fitting, fabrication, manufacturing, or related experience.
Blueprints: Experience reading blueprints and performing fit-up is preferred.

Responsibilities

Read engineered drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and specs.
Perform layout, fit-up, alignment, and assembly of fabricated components.
Set up and operate welding equipment with proper settings for penetration and appearance.
Weld flat, cylindrical, structural, or irregular components per specs.
Identify and report material or quality discrepancies; maintain a safe work area.
