Job summary

You will set up welding equipment, select electrodes and consumables, verify dimensions, inspect welds, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• Reads engineered drawings, layouts and fittings.
• Measures, marks and verifies dimensions with appropriate tools.
• Performs layout, fit-up, alignment and assembly of fabricated components.

Responsibilities

• Welds using ARC and MIG to manufacture quality products.
• Sets up welding equipment and selects electrodes, wire, tips and consumables.
• Positions, clamps, and tack welds for proper alignment before final welding.
• Examines welds for bead size, dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Maintains a clean, safe and organized work area.
