Job summary

Opti Staffing Group in NE Portland, OR is hiring a Welder/Fitter to join our fabrication team. You will read shop drawings and blueprints to fit, fabricate, and weld parts, and you will operate welding equipment and shop machinery to produce high-quality components.

The ideal candidate has welding experience (minimum 2 years), FCAW skills, and basic TIG knowledge, plus experience with shop tools. This swing-shift role offers growth opportunities and a chance to contribute to precision

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of welding experience.
• FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) skills.
• Basic TIG welding knowledge.
• Experience working with shop equipment.
• Preferred: Strong overall welding experience.
• Fitting experience.

Responsibilities

• Fit, fabricate, and weld parts using shop drawings and blueprints
• Operate welding equipment and shop machinery
• Work with tools such as drill presses and other fabrication equipment
• Ensure all parts meet quality and specification standards
