Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking a qualified swing shift Fabricator to join our fabrication shop in Eugene, Oregon. The role involves providing fabrication support and applying welding techniques to produce strong, high-quality welds.

Travel to other divisions may be required and overtime is common during peak periods. We offer training and internal promotion, comprehensive health benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and paid vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years' welding experience or educational equivalent preferred.
• Experience with Mig, Arc, Dual Shield, cutting torch, and metal cutting band saw.
• Demonstrated ability to focus on current work while planning the next stages of work.

Responsibilities

• Provide fabrication support for manufacturing facilities.
• Apply welding techniques to achieve visually and structurally sufficient welds.
• Perform precision layout work and accurately read and interpret blueprints/plans, sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Ensure product and process quality through self-inspection of finished products.
• Possibility to work at other divisions, requiring travel.
• Overtime can be expected during busy production times.
