Job summary

GTRJOBS in Ohio is seeking multiple Welder/Fitter to join our on-site team. This role works on custom-engineered material handling solutions, reading shop drawings, and assembling components with precision and care.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of fitting experience, a 3G MIG certification, and a basic mechanic-type hand tool set. Day shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of fitting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Proficiency in building, clamping, fitting, and tacking.
• 3G MIG certification and at least 1 year of welding experience.
• Job shop or fabrication experience preferred.
• Basic mechanic-type hand tool set.

Responsibilities

• Operate welder/fitter equipment on on-site production.
• Read blueprints and fabricate components to spec.
• Maintain safety and quality standards.
