Nebraska Indian Community College invites applications for a Welding Faculty position. This full-time, exempt role oversees welding facilities, teaches multiple welding courses, and supports NICC's new A.A.S. degree in Industrial Trades.

The starting salary is $60,000-$65,000 with a 12-month contract and campuses at Macy and Santee. Experience in traditional and online teaching methods is preferred.

Qualificações

• Evidence of formal education, industry experience and professional certifications in Welding.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• College teaching experience is preferred as well as familiarity with technology (learning management systems, video conferencing, etc.).
• Ability to work effectively with students, administrators, faculty, and communities.

Responsabilidades

• Full-time faculty have a 12-month contract with a minimum of forty hours per week.
• Maintain welding facilities, equipment, and materials at Macy and Santee Campuses.
• Course assignments may include WELD 1010, WELD 1020, WELD 1110, WELD 1200.
• Teaching schedule may include virtual, on other campuses, day and evening classes.
• Contribute to building a welding certificate and the new A.A.S. degree in Industrial Trades.
